Valerie, Bella and I on a walk, Bella likes to tag along, just like a dog.
Looking east, towards Dunneville.
View from the backyard, looking towards barn and house.
We tore out a coop and resurrected a chicken coop. It is huge, maybe 15x30 feet and will keep some hens happy.
Now the barn looks like this, an amazing transformation.
View from the top of the box truck, looking east. I got the gate you see there at the dump!
He really likes doing this.
4,000 PSI gest the gunk off.
Dad has been waiting months to start pressure washing the outside of this barn. This is the north side and the wood is in remarkable condition.
Giant gophers invaded the yard, looking for the sprinkler pipes.
Inside the barn, Dad pressure washing.
Trees pruned, trash gone and weeds pulled in front of the barn, now all we have to do is wash the exterior.
Mom brought over her old hutch for our dining room it looks great, and Bella agrees.
Trying to resurrect the old sprinkler system...
Bella with prey, happy cat.
Artesian well, artesianing. The well is really gushing now but I managed to stop it up with an old towel, amazing what the wonders of technology can do for us.
Chips, anyone? Thanks to the previous owners we have an abundance of both.
Firewood anyone?
The "big barn", pre cleanout and presure wash. It is 3,600 square feet and does not leak.
Same room, note the insulation, people were living in here...
This is another room in one of the barns, purpose unknown, but what a mess.
Another barn interior, freshly washed by Dad. We are now using this space (!) for material storage and painting studio.
Can you believe the place came with all these great tires? How awesome! I have since hauled them all away, there were over 100 of them on the property, and California law, for some reason, only lety you dispose of 9 at a time.
