Plumbing sucks.
That is bread in my shirt pocket, it stops the water so you can sweat the copper.
Those are knee pads on my elbows, they protect you from rocks and grit.
Thats a forced grin on my face, i did it for the camera.

The new windows. Left, the windows for the bedrooms, right, for the living room.

Our new chickens in the dirt, fighting over worms and preening.

The existing coop had an all metal roof and made the run kind of dark and gloomy.

We decided to take out half the metal roof and replace it with translucent fiberglass.

I think the chickens like it.

Sick chicken!

We bought eight chicks and this one was kind of a runt.

Valerie and I bottle fed it antibiotics for 2 weeks and it is good as new now.

Current living room. The windows are coming out and the fireplace will get a woodburning insert.

We bought the mantle at Crawford's in Soquel, it is out of an 1800's pennsylwania farmhouse.

The replacement windows will be original size and orientation, 3'x6' double hung wood framed Pellas.
